Adjustable, Reuseable Starter Wall and Upturned Keyway Formwork 

The EZ-Starter is a fully adjustable concrete formwork jig designed to streamline the process of forming starter walls, upturned keyways, and securing waterstop for foundation pours. Built for speed, accuracy, repeatability, and adjustability, it eliminates the inefficiencies and quality issues of traditional layout and forming methods.

This durable formwork jig will significantly improve your crew's production rate for form & strip starter wall, upturned keyways, and waterstop installation, and you'll never again have to waste manhours custom making job-built jigs with your crews only to throw them away after the operation. Compared to job-built wooden forms, the EZ-Starter has cut MH/LF production of starter walls by up to 50%.  

 

It comes in two standard models: 1224 and 1236. The 1224 has adjustable legs that can be used for walls that are 12" to 24" thick, and the 1236 for 12" to 36" thick walls. While both can go as low as 12", the 1224 model is offered as it is more compact for ease of use and for storage if walls over 24" thick are rare for your projects. The 1224 model can also be spliced together for 48" thick walls.

 

It is manufactured in the USA with high quality HDPE and heavy-duty hardware that will hold up to the high demand of concrete pour after concrete pour and can be reused on project after project.

 

This adjustable jig is patent pending (application #19/654,425). We can custom-make it with different materials, hardware, and securing elements for the waterstop or anything else that you need embedded in concrete (conduit, pipe, etc).
